East of the West Atchafalaya Basin Protection Levee and West of
the East Atchafalaya Basin Protection Levee.
St. Mary   East of the West Atchafalaya Basin Protection Levee.
HIGH WATER BENCHMARK CLOSURE
Deer hunting in those portions of Iberville and St. Martin parishes south of I-10,
west of the East Atchafalaya Basin Protection Levee, east of the West Atchafa-
laya Basin Protection Levee (commonly referred to as Crook Chene), and north
of Alligator Bayou and Bayou Sorrel will be closed when the river stage of the
Atchafalaya River reaches 18 feet msl at Butte LaRose, and will reopen when
the river stage recedes to 17 feet msl at Butte LaRose. Deer hunting in those
portions of Iberville, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Iberia parishes west of the East
Atchafalaya Basin Protection Levee, east of the West Atchafalaya Basin Protec-
tion Levee and south of Alligator Bayou and Bayou Sorrel will be closed when
the river stage of the Atchafalaya River reaches 15 feet msl at Butte LaRose,
and will reopen when the river stage recedes to 14 feet msl at Butte LaRose.

south to Upper Grand River, then north of Up-
Iberville   per Grand River to the Intracoastal Canal at
Jack Miller, then west of the Intracoastal Canal
northward to Bayou Plaquemine, then north of
Bayou Plaquemine to the Mississippi River.
Lafayette   North of I-10 and east of I-49.
South of Alexandria between Red River and
US 167 to the junction of US 167 with I-49 at
Rapides
Turkey Creek Exit, east of I-49 southward to
parish line.
St. Landry   East of US 167.
St. Martin   North of I-10.
STILL HUNTING ONLY FOR PORTIONS
OF THE FOLLOWING PARISHES
North of LA 1 from Simmesport westward to LA
115 at Marksville, east of LA 115 from Marks-
Avoyelles   ville northward to the Red River near Moncla,
south and west of the Red River to LA 1 at Sim-
mesport.
South of Alexandria between Red River and US
Rapides   167 to the junction of US 167 with I-49 at Turkey
Creek Exit, east of I-49 southward to parish line.
West of Thompson Creek to Illinois-Central Rail-
road, north of Illinois-Central Railroad to LA 964,
east of LA 964 northward to US 61, north of US
West Feliciana
61 westward to the junction of US 61 and LA
966, east of LA 966 from US 61 to Chaney Creek,
south of Chaney Creek to Thompson Creek.
